Dr. Mingjie Jin is a full professor at Nanjing University of Science and Technology, China. He obtained his Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Michigan State University (MSU), and then worked as a postdoc., assistant professor and R&D scientist at MSU and Edeniq Inc. In 2015, he joined Nanjing University of Science and Technology and worked there since then. He is a renowned researcher in the field of lignocellulosic biomass conversion for production of fuel ethanol, microbial lipids, lactic acid, and various other bio-chemical products. Prof. Jin’s research is supported by national programs, such as National Key R&D Program, National Natural Science Foundation of China, etc. He has authored over 140 peer-reviewed articles in prestigious journals, such as Energy & Environmental Science, and Science Advances. He has obtained over 20 patents and serves as the editorial board member of several journals.
